Giannis Antetokounmpo shows class with first move after winning NBA Cup with Milwaukee Bucks in Las Vegas

After winning the NBA Cup in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, Giannis Antetokounmpo made his way right to the audience.

“Greek Freak” Giannis hit a triple double as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in a resounding fashion.

In the 97-81 triumph at T-Mobile Arena, Antetokounmpo finished with 26 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists.

And the 30-year-old celebrated with his brother as soon as he added the NBACup to his trophy collection.

As the last seconds passed, the Bucks star moved from one side of the court to the other.

He saw his 32-year-old brother Thanasis, who spent five years with the Bucks before tearing his Achilles in May.

Before Giannis rushed off to celebrate with his teammates, the basketball brothers gave each other a hug and embrace.

Giannis declared, “I have to embrace him,” following the game. “I love him to death.”

“My children were unable to attend. Although my wife and mother attend practically every game, they were unable to attend this one.

“Only Thanasis and my sister-in-law were present; they were unable to attend.

“From the beginning to the present, I’m incredibly delighted. The journey has made me proud.

“I never take anything for granted. I simply must celebrate and adore my brother.

“He has been there for me from the beginning, not only as a brother but also throughout my basketball career.

“He has consistently supported me. Regardless of the result, he is always there for me during all the stressful, challenging, and high-pressure times.

Antetokounmpo’s outstanding performance earned him the MVP award.

In addition to winning the NBA title, MVP award, and Finals MVP, he becomes the second player in NBA history to win the NBA Cup, joining LeBron James.

The Bucks forward was also pleased to make amends for losing in the semi-finals last year despite making it to the last four.

“Just winning is the best feeling ever,” the 30-year-old remarked.

“Playing in Vegas is enjoyable. I enjoy coming here and competing in Vegas because I stay in my room.

“I enjoy it, although it might be a little distracting to others.
