Golf cult hero John Daly rushed to hospital and forced to undergo emergency surgery
Legendary golfer John Daly had to have emergency surgery after being taken to the hospital.
Following surgery on his left hand, the five-time PGA Tour winner will be out of the game for a long time.
The 58-year-old posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed, covered in bandages, to social media to share the news.
“Emergency hand surgery… thankful it went great and Doc McClimans for taking care of me,” Daly said as the caption for his X post. You’ll be playing again soon!”
He added, “Thanks for all the messages…..” to a different Instagram image that indicated Tampa, Florida as the location.
Although Daly did not disclose the cause of his injuries, it is thought that an event happened during the previous two weeks.

This is because on New Year’s Eve, Daly made news by smashing golf balls over a road.
Due to his notorious love of alcohol, Daly has collaborated with Good Boy Vodka to create a line of ready-to-drink cocktails.
The American was promoting his stories just minutes after posting from his medical unit.
During his golf career, the Lion won two major championships: the 1995 Open and the 1991 PGA.

Daly has never tried to hide his hard-living lifestyle and is a great fan favorite in the golf industry.
He claims that he doesn’t eat vegetables or drink water, and he is frequently spotted on the course with a lit cigarette.
“I like to have ice, which to me is water, so I get plenty of water in my diet coke,” he stated in 2016.
“I am referred to as ‘the camel’ by Rich Beem. I don’t consume any water. Water is something I detest. I’m unable to sip water.
“I used to visit McDonald’s three or four times a day and drink 12 to 20 diet Cokes.” They always had the greatest fountain drink, in my opinion.
He recently said that he had “20 vodkas” before filming with Bryson DeChambeau on his YouTube channel.
Daly was given a bladder cancer diagnosis in September 2020, which he later claimed was benign but would require frequent checkups with his physician for the following five years.
The golfer routinely calls Donald Trump “Daddy” and is a fervent supporter of the president.

Daly participated in the PNC Championship in December with his son John II, while Charlie Woods and Tiger Woods were also competitors.
The Woods duo fell in a play-off at last month’s tournament as Bernhard and Jason Langer won their sixth title, while the Dalys won the event in 2021.
