Hannah Kobayashi’s mom received chilling 2-word text from missing daughter’s phone as mystery over disappearance deepens
THE mom of missing traveler Hannah Kobayashi said she received a text from her daughter s phone when she grew concerned about her whereabouts.
Hannah, 31, jetted out of Maui,Hawaiion November 8 as she was prepared to embark on a trip toNew Yorkbut hasn t yet reached the Empire State.
She flew intoLos Angeles, and surveillance footage showed her inside the airport but failed to make her connection.
Brandi Yee messaged her daughter to ask if she had reached New York, to which the reply was Not yet, as reported byHawaii News Now.
It was only one of the messages that was apparently sent from Hannah s cell phone.
One message claimed Hannah was tricked into handing over hermoney.

For someone I thought I loved, a second message said
A follow-up message purportedly sent from Hannah’s phone said she has been on the streets.
Hannah s sister Sydni said she received strange texts from her sibling.
It was just really weird texts, Sydni told HawaiiNewsNow.
Sydni raised the theory that someone else could be using Hannah s phone.
Other messages purportedly sent by Hannah claimed that she had been hacked.
She also claimed her identity had been stripped and she couldn t fly.
A pal asked how Hannah could travel from Maui to Los Angeles, to which she replied, Some weird s**t, babe.
Hannah also claimed she couldn t go to the cops for help.

Hannah Kobayashi, 31, has been missing since she missed her connecting flight at the Los Angeles airport last weekend
Friday, November 8:Kobayashi leaves her home in Maui and arrives in Los Angeles for her connecting flight to New York City. She has 42 minutes to make the flight at 11 pm.
Saturday, November 9:Kobayashi is meant to land at JFK airport in New York City at 7 am but never arrives. She’s instead seen at an event at The Grove in Los Angeles, about an hour away from LAX.
Sunday, November 10:Kobayashi sends a message saying she’s scared and worried about someone trying to steal her money and identity.
Monday, November 11:Kobayashi’s phone puts her back at LAX. She posts a picture on her Instagram account. She turns her phone off.
Wednesday, November 13:Family files missing person’s report.
Thursday, November 14:YouTube video of the Nike event at The Grove is posted, placing Kabayashi in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Hannah was supposed to arrive at New York s JFK airport at around 7am but never showed.
She had even planned out an itinerary of what she intended to do in the city.
She had jotted down potential options on what to do on her first day.
Potential activities included attending the Brooklyn Folk Festival or watching the DJ Honey Dijon at the Brooklyn Storehouse.
Hannah set aside time on the morning of November 10 to complete her bucket list activities.
And, thenextday, she planned to see her auntie.
But Hannah s last known location remains Los Angeles.
AYouTubevideo showedHannah outside an event in the cityon the day she was supposed to land in New York.
Apostappearing to show a sign from theNikepop-up event was also shared on her Instagram account two days later – November 11.
Familymembers have grown concerned for Hannah s whereabouts, and an urgent search is underway.
‘A LONG STORY’
On November 11, she reportedly messaged her aunt, who she was supposed to meet in New York, that she had finished a very intense spiritual awakening.
I m charging my phone and heading back to the airport to get to NYC, the message seen by the ANC affiliateKITV-TVsaid.
I might need some help getting there, it s a long story.
She claimed she would keep her aunt updated.
Hannah s family filed a missing persons report on November 13, and attempts to call her went through her voicemail.
Yee has compared the ordeal to a nightmare and said her family has done all they can.
