“God bless everybody and see you on the other side.”

In the summer of 2025, Fury was expected to face Anthony Joshua in a highly anticipated all-British bout.

Eddie Hearn, AJ’s promoter, even disclosed that he had booked Wembley Stadium for the highly anticipated battle between the two heavyweights, but it now appears that the fight is off the table.

Fury has previously stated that he has hung up his gloves, though.

The first instance occurred twelve years ago when he became irate after a fight with David Haye didn’t work out.

“Hello everyone, I have officially retired from boxing,” he announced at the time. The sport is overrun with wicked and twisted individuals. Someone else will have to f*** them. Farewell to boxing.

He took a three-year hiatus from the sport from 2015 to 2018 after the news, and many people didn’t think he would return.

After defeating Dillian Whyte in 2022, Fury decided to retire once more before returning a few months later to take on Derek Chisora.

Given that a fight with Joshua is still in the works, we cannot be quite certain that Fury will never step foot in the ring again.
