Heartbroken Cheryl Cole arrives supported by Girls Aloud bandmates at Liam Payne’s funeral

HEARTBROKEN Cheryl was spotted at the burial for Liam Payne.

At the service in the Home Counties this afternoon, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who star in Girls Aloud, were by her side.

Liam’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, joined them outside the church where he was buried just over a month after he died at the age of thirty-one.

Kimberley and Nicola hugged other mourners while sporting dark sunglasses and long black coats.

Also seen coming were Liam’s old teammates Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles.

Zayn’s reunion with the other members of 1D is the first since he left the band in 2015, just months before the breakup.

Outside the church, dozens of locals and supporters have gathered to offer their last condolences.

His closest friends and family, along with James Cordon, the actor and creator of Gavin & Stacey, are attending the private service.

Ahead of Liam Payne’s burial today, ONE Direction fan Alice Chapman stopped by to show her support.

According to the 40-year-old full-time mother who lives in the neighborhood where the burial is taking place, she wanted to let the late singer’s family know how “loved” he was.

“It was such a shock to hear Liam had died,” she told The Sun. It moved me because I recently lost a buddy in a similar situation.

“Liam was just a normal boy from Wolverhampton who we all watched on the TV on a Saturday night with a Chinese.”

“It’s a sign of respect to line the street for when his mom and dad drive through,” the former event coordinator continued.

“If it were my son, I couldn’t think of anything worse than an empty street. We want to let them know that we are concerned.

“People don’t appreciate how respected and loved someone was until they are gone.”

Alice Henry, a 47-year-old local vocalist who attends the church where Liam’s burial is being place, said she felt obligated to honor him.

“It’s such a tragic situation,” she continued. I wanted to come down and offer my respects because I attend the church and know the vicar well, who is leading the ceremony.”
