High-speed police chase in Detroit ends with teen arrests after 20-mile pursuit

According to the police, the pursuit began when they saw five teens inside a stolen Cadillac on Garden City’s Venoy.

FOX 2, Garden City, Mich.Several adolescents were arrested after a cross-county police chase, during which they allegedly drove as fast as 120 mph.

According to the police, the pursuit began when they saw five teens inside a stolen Cadillac on Garden City’s Venoy.

Beginning soon after two in the morning on Wednesday, the 20-mile pursuit came to an end on the east side of Detroit.

In an attempt to reach Cadieux, the vehicle sped through a number of eastside Detroit communities before the youngsters bailed out at Blue Hill and Denver. He then sprinted down Denver.

Unfortunately for them, though, the police found them there.

According to local Thomas Pardo, “it was the wrong way to run because there’s a police station right there as soon as you run out of Blue Hill.”

Pardo claims that police pursuits ending on his street are becoming all too common and that he is not surprised to hear about them.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. Garden City police are not commenting on the chase, and the five teenagers were taken into custody.
