HomeGoods confirms all 914 stores will close in 24-hour shopping blackout forcing customers to change plans

Later this month, hundreds of HomeGoods stores throughout the US will close for one day.

As Americans get ready to celebrate a holiday, the shutdown is imminent.

In order for employees to observe Thanksgiving, HomeGoods executives have verified that all 914 shops would close.

The TJX family includes the 1992-founded brand, and executives have stated that a number of its well-known brands would be shutting down.

On November 28, Turkey Day, TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores will also be closed.

The decision to close stores last year was made so that employees could spend the holidays with their families, according to the management.
