Horrifying moment medical jet crashes in fireball explosion in front of cars as child patient & 5 others feared dead
This is the terrifying scene where a medical plane carrying a young patient erupts in a massive explosion in the midst of a crowded roadway.
All six people on board the flight are now thought to be dead as the terrifying video shows the fireball exploding in front of cars in Philadelphia.
Only a few days after the Washington, DC, aviation tragedy, the accident has left behind debris and burned-out cars.
The aircraft, a medical transport jet, was seen plummeting from the sky in a white streak in terrifying dashcam footage.
After the catastrophic collision, the night is illuminated by a dazzling orange fireball that erupts into the sky.
Just after 6 p.m. on Friday, it is reported to have struck multiple structures as it sank into a residential area close to a shopping center and a major junction.

Six persons on the ground received hospital treatment for injuries, while the exact number of fatalities is still unknown.
According to the New York Post, the child was returning home to Mexico after receiving life-saving therapy.
The jet’s eventual destination was Tijuana, and all of the passengers were from Mexico.
Just 30 seconds after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, the Learjet 55 crashed to the ground, according to the FAA.
Missouri’s Springfield-Branson National Airport was the scheduled stop.
The flight’s operator, Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, reported that four additional passengers, including a doctor, were on board.
In a statement, the business stated: “We are unable to verify any survivors.
“Our immediate concern is for the patients family, our personnel, their families and other victims that may have been hurt on the ground.”
As of yet, no fatalities have been reported.
One witness described the crash as “horrific” and described it as “earthquake-ish” to the local news outlet WPVI.
They stated: I was on my way to Wendy’s when I noticed a jet strike the building and cause it to explode while I was driving down the street.
“I pulled over when the sky began to light up, and it was very awful around here. The entire sky was illuminated.
Tonight, President Donald Trump, who has been collaborating with Washington officials on the horrific collision since Wednesday, said that “more innocent souls lost” in the crash.
“I’m very sorry to see the plane crash in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,” he remarked.
“More helpless people died. Our people are fully involved.
During an emergency news briefing, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker stated that a number of homes were “impacted”.
The number of casualties is unknown at this time, she added.
At 6:06 p.m., the twin-engine Learjet 55 took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport and climbed to 1,600 feet in height before swiftly vanishing from radar.
It exploded in a massive firestorm explosion close to Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard just 30 seconds after takeoff.
The jet was seen on doorbell camera footage as it crashed to the ground and exploded, lighting up the sky.
The doorbell camera’s owner, Jim Quinn, stated: “We heard a great roar, but we had no idea where it was coming from. When we turned around, the large plume was visible.
After the terrifying collision, a sizable fire raged in the center of the road.
According to reports, a number of fires started after the first explosion.
Dozens of frightened bystanders rushed to shelter as black clouds of smoke billowed through the sky.
Emergency personnel raced to the location and are combating the fire at the moment.
Northeast Philadelphia Airport is reportedly only three miles from the crash scene.
The emergency management agency in Philadelphia said a “major incident” was under progress on X.
He stated all of the nearby roads were closed and advised people to stay away from the area.
The crash’s possible cause is yet unknown.
According to reports, air traffic control radio communications referred to the jet as a “medevac” flight.

‘Scared’ travelers return to Ronald Reagan airport

Just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, a Black Hawk helicopter struck an American Airlines plane that was getting ready to land, killing 67 passengers. However, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is now operational again.
Following the crash, DCA was closed for 14 hours until reopening on Thursday at 11 a.m.
“I’m flying out, it’s pretty tragic,” a 25-year-old passenger named Abhi told The U.S. Sun at the airport.
“I do feel a little more conscious than I usually do when I’m traveling because I do it frequently.
“So, I do feel a little more conscious and afraid now, but you have to keep moving and move on, you know.
Carlos Estrada, a resident of Maryland, told The U.S. Sun that he was awaiting the arrival of his sister’s flight from Arkansas, which had been redirected to New York.
“She s very concerned, she s been texting me the whole time,” Estrada stated.
“I find it uncomfortable. Everybody here is in some kind of pain.
