Horror moment out-of-control plane crashes into busy highway splitting aircraft in half & wiping out three cars
This is the terrifying scene as an uncontrollably flying jet splits in two and kills three cars when it crashes into a busy highway.
Yesterday about 3 p.m., the 1981 Piper PA-31 twin-engine aircraft had to make an emergency landing in Victoria, Texas.
The airborne vehicle is seen speeding down the US highway in shocking video, barely capturing the scene.
Even if it seems to land on the road very flat, the mayhem it produced is still evident.
Later, the plane is seen sprawled out on the tarmac, with wreckage all over the place and the plane completely torn in half.
One of the vehicles involved in the bizarre incident is depicted lying on its side, its body destroyed, fragments of it torn away, and the windshield popped out.

“I heard a plane, sounded like a Cessna over the top of me, and I’m thinking, ‘Man, it sounds really low,'” said Tony Ponyor, who was there at the time.
“I decided to keep moving forward as it began to falter and rock back and forth. It sounds as though it will crash.
“I feared that plane was going to crash on me when I heard it.
“The plane blowing up was the next thing I was concerned about.
“I noticed gasoline on the ground when I turned to look around.
“I was astounded that nothing was on fire because there isn’t even a hint of smoke.
“There was no burning. I went to speak with the woman beneath the wing because I felt secure enough.
Additionally, he was the first to rush to the aid of the plane’s occupants.
“[I] parked my car and ran up to the pilot to see if he was okay,” Tony added. His straps were still fastened, but at an angle.
“I tried to free him by unstrapping him, but the doors were closed.
He was a 70- to 80-year-old man who was fine, bloodied but conscious.
Poynor went to the most gravely injured woman’s aid.
“Her face was bloody, her hands were bloody, the EMT’s started working on her,” stated the doctor.
THE IMPACT
The plane touched down on a feeder road near the Zac Lentz Parkway and Mockingbird Lane.
The only person on board the plane at the time was the unnamed pilot.
It hit three vehicles near the Victoria East High School, leaving three people with non-life-threatening injuries and a fourth needing a higher level of care, according to the police.
We are relieved that it wasn’t worse than it is, stated Deputy Police Chief Eline Moya.
We don’t see something like this very often.
But we are glad that people seem to be okay, and they are getting checked out.
The highway that became the scene of the near-fatal crash is located 150 miles southwest of Houston.
