Most importantly, he is no longer a threat.

Chili clarified that being a sniper in real life differs greatly from what is depicted in films, particularly when Russian forces attack her position.

“I didn’t get any sleep the night before the first task,” she remarked.

I was anxious since I had no idea what was in store for me or how it would feel.

Although there is no way to emotionally prepare for this, it was cool in the end, despite the fact that everyone wants to murder you.

Chili is the latest in a long line of snipers with Ukrainian ancestry.

The most well-known was Lady Death, a female markswoman who is said to have killed 309 Nazis during World War Two. Lyudmila Pavlichenko was the most lethal female markswoman in history.

A Ukrainian shooter known by the codename Charcoal was also praised as a heroine in 2022.

Since the start of the conflict, several Ukrainian soldiers have received sniper training in Norway.

I was surprisingly unfrightened. My comrade responded, “No way, you have balls of steel,” as I arrived at the place. I realized then that I was qualified for this position.

Regarding her first assignment, Chili claimed that the adversary started shooting as she was getting close to her sniping position.

“We continued to move,” she stated. The shots were only 15 meters away and were getting closer and closer.

To be honest, it was energizing. I was surprisingly unfrightened. I continued without freezing. My comrade responded, “No way, you have balls of steel,” as I arrived at the place.

She added that Russian troops considered snipers like her a priority target and that if they were captured, they would probably be killed right away.

“I’ve prepared myself for this,” she continued. I am aware of my mortality. I’ve considered each of these instances.

Chili acknowledged that after the dispute is over, she will find it difficult to go back to her previous life.

To be honest, I occasionally ponder what I will do once I return to my regular life, she continued.

Aside from the army, I don’t know what to do anymore, therefore I think I’ll be searching for myself for a very long and dull period.

The sharpshooter went on to say that her family life has been greatly impacted by the war and her choice to fight.

“I have two brothers,” she said. While I enlisted in the army, they both traveled overseas.

I don’t talk to them anymore. How they live doesn’t matter to me. I am aware of my current lifestyle and the reasons behind it. My son is ten years old. He is also aware of my location and activities.

He’s at home waiting for me. I describe the circumstances, the necessity, and my obligation to be present. He is a youngster, nevertheless. He desires a mommy.

He emails me the sketches he does. The mother stands with a firearm on them.

“Mum, you have my love,” my kid writes. It’s pleasant, but I’m really hurt by it.

I came here mostly to prevent my son from ever having to fight in the trenches. In order for him to lead a regular life, I would prefer to do it.
