How tall is Al Roker? viewers ask as Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade host looks like ‘hobbit’ at ‘kids table’
On Thursday, fans were left wondering what happened when they caught a glimpse of Al Roker seated next to his co-hosts of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
During the live coverage of the 98th annual parade, the NBC icon was sitting next to Today Show anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. However, many noted that the picture was out of the ordinary.
As his co-stars celebrated Thursday’s festivities by making comments about balloons and floats passing the trio, Roker seemed to be seated in a smaller chair than them.
At 5 feet 8 inches, the 70-year-old is the shortest of the three parade hosts.
Kotb is 5’9, and Guthrie is the tallest at 5’10.
But because Roker was seated a few inches lower than his other analysts, fans made fun of him.
