FOX 2, Washington, D.C.Inauguration day has finally arrived following a protracted election cycle and a comparatively tranquil transition period.
For the historic day, Roop Raj is broadcasting live from Washington, DC.
The 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump, is about to take the oath of office. Before he enters the White House for his first formal act as president, Trump will give a speech, place his hand over the bible, and take the oath.
During President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Roop Raj is broadcasting live from Washington, DC.
In addition to providing live coverage of the whole day, FOX 2’s Roop Raj will be there outside the ceremony. The inauguration is also being covered live from the rotunda.
As Donald Trump gets ready to assume office for the second time, Roop Raj is in Washington, D.C., on the eve of the inauguration, speaking with senators and other people.
Outside the Rotunda
Michigan Trump supporters:
Some Donald Trump fans braved the outdoors before the president-elect was sworn in, even though there was no outside event.
Among them was a Livonian family that traveled together.
“I assure you that I fully endorse Donald Trump. “He’s a gentleman, and I’ve seen him at various events over the years,” Larry Sr. remarked.
A Livonia family was one of those that traveled to Washington, D.C.
His son, who stood behind him, expressed his hope that he could have influenced the decision to move the ceremony, but they made accommodations, and he even purchased a scarf. He remarked, “We’re just having fun out here,” his breath coming through due to the cold weather.
With a temperature of 27 degrees and partly cloudy sky, D.C. isn’t quite as cold as Michigan.
Members of the Michigan GOP were at a watch party a mile from the inauguration, and they cheered when Donald Trump showed up. Dawn Beattie provided the video.

Joe Biden departs:
As is customary, departing President Joe Biden departed on the executive office’s helicopter, Marine One, at precisely 1:15 p.m.
Ahead of Inauguration:
The backstory
The inauguration event was supposed to be held outside in front of the U.S. Capitol building, but officials decided to shift it inside due to the frigid conditions. The Rotunda is where Donald Trump will be sworn in.
The fencing that was supposed to serve as a barrier for the event is still in place, around the National Mall.
Several hundred people will assemble inside the dome in place of the hundreds of thousands who had come to the city to witness the president take the oath of office. Public authorities and individuals personally invited by the president-elect will make up the majority.

They serve as mementos for the 220,000 attendees who purchased tickets to the ceremony.
The inaugural procession has also been rescheduled to take place inside Capital One Arena. It can accommodate roughly 20,000 people.

Bipartisan Issue:
Both Republicans and Democrats will be present for Trump’s inauguration, despite the bitterness that surrounded the previous U.S. presidential election.
“It is what we do,” noted Congresswoman Debbie Dingell of Michigan.
The veteran Democrat, who was wearing a “Trump 2024” hat, claimed she will be there, standing next to Republican Brian Pannebecker.
“Tonight, we’re both going to the Michigan bipartisan ball,” Pannebecker stated.
“And to make clear how bipartisan, Rashida Tlaib is right down there,” Dingell continued.
Over the weekend, both were waiting for their flights to D.C. at the airport gate.
