On Tuesday, the former Grand Laguna Hotel, located on a picturesque island in Thailand, tragically collapsed.
In Koh Chang, an abandoned cruise ship was transformed into a floating luxury hotel tucked away in the verdant jungle.
The renowned hotel caught fire after firefighters failed to put out the fire, which began at approximately 11.50 a.m.
According to The Nation, authorities also stated that over fifty emergency personnel were unable to extinguish the fire because of the rapid development of the flames due to strong winds.

According to The Nation, the hotel opened in 1992 but was shut down almost 20 years ago because of financial difficulties.

Nevertheless, some individuals think that the closing of this floating hotel was caused by several reported deaths.
Locals refer to this place as the “forgotten ship hotel,” and it has been used for both film and photography.
