Is This Real Case? Graham Hands Over Phone To FBI Over Suspected Hacking Concerns

DEBARYLIFE – There’s a chance that one of the senators’ phones was compromised because Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) claims the FBI has his phone after someone attempted to con him by pretending to be a communication from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

Graham stated, “My phone is in the hands of the FBI now,” during a speech at the Hill & Valley Forum. The Washington Times reported on his words.

“I receive a message that I thought was from Schumer, but it’s not from Schumer, and then my phone starts doing weird things. It seems that anything you can make can be compromised.

Graham’s representative, Taylor Reidy, stated that the potential hack is currently being looked into.

Reidy added, “The Sergeant at Arms is looking into a potential hack of Sen. Graham’s phone.”

According to a Democratic aide, Graham ought to have been wary of any text message claiming to be from Schumer right away because the Democratic leader is infamous for using an outdated LG flip phone, which dates back to the 1990s before texting became popular.
