Jalen Hurts delivers cryptic injury update after Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback was silent in on-field interview

When the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, quarterback Jalen Hurts did not exactly discuss his injury status in the postgame interview.

Hurts sustained a knee injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s triumph at a snowy Lincoln Financial Field, raising concerns about his eligibility for the NFCC championship.

When Hurts’ legs were pinned beneath him during his sacking by safety Jalen McCollough, he twisted his left knee.

The two-time Pro Bowl player was given a knee brace and seemed limited for the remainder of the game, even if he did stay in it.

Despite having time to throw the ball away or dodge the pass rushers, Hurts was sacked for safety later in the quarter, demonstrating his limited body of work.

After the game, NBC’s Melissa Stark interviewed the fifth-year NFL standout, but he was unable to respond to a key issue.

“You went into the medical tent, you came out with a break,” Stark stated. “How is this gonna affect younextweek?”

“I’m sure I’ll get asked about it later, I don’t know if I can answer right now,” Hurts replied. “But I’m gonna go enjoy this win with my teammates.”

But Hurts’ subsequent response to Stark’s follow-up query was equally evasive.

“Are you okay?” Starks inquired.

Hurts responded, “I finished the game,” and the interview came to a close.

Hurts did respond when asked if he is certain he will start the next game, much to the joy of Eagles supporters.

“Yeah,” he replied.

During the competition, Hurts was sacked seven times.

He acknowledged that it was challenging to play the game, particularly in the second half when the snowfall was heavier.

“Tough game,” remarked Hurts. “A difficult game. We’ll see how the week unfolds, but I managed to finish the game.

He gained 128 yards on 15 of 20 passes.

Following a 44-yard touchdown run on the Eagles’ opening drive, Hurts would calm down.

Luckily for Philadelphia, star running back Saquon Barkley finished with 205 yards rushing and controlled the remainder of the game on offense.
