Jamie Lee Komoroski sobs as she admits to mowing down bride on her wedding night – then insisted she ‘did nothing wrong’

The intoxicated motorist who allegedly struck and killed a bride on her wedding day has entered a guilty plea to all charges.

On April 28, 2023, Jamie Lee Komoroski admitted to driving while intoxicated and colliding with a golf cart carrying four passengers.

After their wedding on Folly Beach, South Carolina, outside of Charleston, she left her now-widowed husband, Aric Hutchison, with terrible injuries and killed 34-year-old Samantha Miller.

After Komorowski struck Hutchison at 65 mph in a 25 mph zone, he lived but sustained cuts all over his body, two fractured legs, and brain hemorrhages.

After going out to bars, her blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit.

Komorowski sobbed as friends and relatives heard her victim impact statement, and she didn’t look like the inebriated mugshot she had in court.

Miller’s sister testified in court that she can’t leave the home without worrying about whether she’ll survive a vehicle accident since she lives in constant terror of them.

“I know that no sentence can bring Sam back,” she replied.

“Knowing that a self-centered and avoidable catastrophe took my sister’s life has left me feeling angry and frustrated.

“We have to live with the consequences of this tragedy, and she should too.”

Komorowski entered a guilty plea to one count of reckless homicide and three counts of DUI, including a felony DUI charge.
