Jason Kelce still ‘massive part of Philadelphia Eagles family’ with Super Bowl champ heavily involved despite retirement

JASON Kelce is still seen as a “five-star advisor” by the Philadelphia Eagles even in retirement, a source has told The U.S. Sun.

The Super Bowl-winning Eagles legend hung up his boots after a stellar 13-year career last season.

But a well-placed insider claims his influence is still profound and a “massive part of the Eagles family.”

Kelce has had no problem transitioning to the next phase of his life, working as a pundit on ESPN, exploring numerous business opportunities, and starring in commercials.

The 37-year-old has also helped brother Travis build their New Heights podcast into one of the most popular around.

But the older Kelce has remained very close to his old pals in Philadelphia, who are enjoying a solid start to the NFL season.

The Eagles beat the Washington Commanders Thursday night to improve to 8-2 this year.

The source says he remains a “massive part of the Eagles family” and has maintained close – and essential connections – with players and the front office.

“We have been in constant contact with him ever since he decided to retire, as his expertise and knowledge of the game and on how to win is exemplary,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.

The hugely popular center decided to retire last season after a successful career in Pennsylvania, where he won Super Bowl LII and became a six-time first-team All-Pro selection.

But his love of the game has remained strong as the Eagles continue to soar in the NFC East this season.

“His influence goes beyond his aura and legendary career, and he wants to keep helping the team in any way possible,” the insider, a long-standing staff member, added.

“We meet up and talk on the phone a couple of times a week, and we ask him what he thinks about how we play, the things that must be improved, and how to reach our potential fully. He wants us to succeed, and he is an Eagle for life; that is part of his DNA now.”

Kelce’s influence has also continued to influence matters on the field.
One current player told The U.S. Sun that his teammates see him as a “big brother to us all” and that he is always available to give crucial advice and tips.

“He is a guy you can rely on 24/7,” said the Eagles star.

“He is forthright, no bullshit, and speaks real. No BS, straight to the point to help the guys get better, learn, and give them confidence.”

“I know some guys, including myself, that see or talk to him multiple times a month, as they like to have this legend of the game and the franchise being also the best advisor possible. A 5-star advisor.”

‘It was a short retirement!’

Jason Kelce didn’t stay retired in the NFL for long.

The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman called it quits after the 2023 season.

But he will be part of ESPN’s coverage on Monday Night Football in 2024.

Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm-8pm ET every week as well as during the halftime show.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement!” he joked.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.

“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment.

“And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”

Eagles fans have hailed Nick Sirianni for his side’s impressive performance so far this campaign.

A razor-tight defense provides the foundation for Jalen Hurts and the offense to work their magic.

Kelce’s behind-the-scenes work, however, has not gone unnoticed.

“He is one of the reasons for the great season so far,” added the player.

“What he brings to the table as his level of knowledge of the game is insane.”

The older Kelce brother knows the game like very few in the business, so it’s no surprise everyone trusts him in the franchise.

“We can rely on Jason no matter what; he’s the kind of friend who is here whenever you need him, in good and bad times,” continued the player.
