“Jazz Cannabis” club in Detroit targeted in attempted smash and grab
DETROIT (FOX 2):An early-morning smash-and-grab on Detroit’s west side is being looked at by police. The proprietor of the “Jazz Cannabis” club had to pay for expensive repairs after the men involved left a massive hole in the structure.
George Brikho, proprietor of Jazz Cannabis Club, claimed, “They drove the U-haul through the back end of the building and left a huge hole.”
On the west side of Detroit, smash and grab has reached a whole new level. Early on Wednesday morning, a group of criminals broke into the Jazz Cannabis Club on Telegraph, close to West McNichols, using this enormous UHaul.
Brikho remarked, “It’s pretty frustrating,” We’re all trying to make it, you know. The current state of the economy is quite difficult. People are struggling to make ends meet, therefore it is really upsetting for small company owners to experience this kind of harm.”
According to sources, four black-clad individuals who were purportedly seen in a white 2016 Ford Explorer did not escape punishment for anything, but their one effort sent shivers down the spines of the management and owner, who were already attempting to conduct business in a challenging climate.
“There is no insurance coverage for this type of business,” he stated. “If we do purchase insurance, it will be extremely costly, and you must handle it as though it were a jewelry store. Everything must be kept in a vault.
Additionally, this is not the first time that someone has attempted to defraud them.
“The first time they tried to come through the back they used a sledgehammer to get in,” he stated. “Thankfully, they were not able to get in as well to the actual dispensary, but it s the second time this happened.”
Brikho expresses gratitude for the prompt police reaction and promises to continue while maintaining vital inventory.
We cannot afford to suffer a setback. We’re barely getting by in this day and age. At the moment, the margins are really awful.
The key question at hand is whether this team has a history of mischief. According to the authorities, it’s too soon to tell.
They are still looking into it.
