Jeff Petry scores 1st 2 goals of season, Red Wings beat Maple Leafs 4-2

(AP) Detroit, MI-DETROIT The Detroit Red Wings defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 on Saturday night, with Jeff Petry scoring his first two goals of the season and Ville Husso recording 23 saves for his first win in almost a year.

Petry hadn’t scored since Pittsburgh on April 11. He was acquired in an offseason deal with Montreal and finished the previous season with three goals in 73 games.
