Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings reacts off camera to rival Ryan Seacrest taking over for Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune

JEOPARDY! The U.S. Sun can exclusively disclose how host Ken Jennings has responded to rival Ryan Seacrest replacing Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune.

As the two shows tape side by side on the Sony Studios lot, Ryan came in right next door last year and replaced the beloved Alex Trebek, who passed away in 2021, with the game show whiz.

According to a source, Ken, 50, recently shared his opinions in between Jeopardy! sets, despite the fact that he has not publicly stated his feelings regarding Ryan, 50, taking up Pat’s hosting duties.

According to the insider, Ken mentioned how he was able to visit and witness Ryan and Vanna taping Wheel of Fortune recently.

The two shows are shot on adjacent sound stages at Sony Studios in Culver City, California, since they are both syndicated by the same group.

Due to their different filming times, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! also have many of the same production team members.

The insider went on to say that although Ken rarely appears on the lot when Wheel of Fortune tapes, this was one of the few occasions since he began the other day.

The ease with which Ryan has not only taken Pat’s place but also made it his own truly astounded Ken.

He even made the joke that Ryan is a far better host than he is at one point. He gave Ryan a lot of praise.

It was entertaining to watch them perform their magic next door, and you can see there is a great deal of respect there.

The show’s routine and production speed impressed him; it has a lot more moving pieces on the set than Jeopardy!

Ken was even cracking jokes off camera with the live crowd during a prior taping, according to The U.S. Sun, so he wasn’t worried about Wheel of Fortune outperforming his show in the ratings.

Following a recent taping, Ken asked the live crowd if they had a good time at the show before asking if any of them wished they had gone to see Wheel of Fortune instead, a source informed The U.S. Sun.

“The crowd erupted in laughter and seemed to appreciate him making fun of the rivalry and not taking it so seriously.”

“Ken is ready to respond to inquiries from visitors, incredibly nice to everyone on set, and incredibly humble.

It appears he hasn’t been overly obsessed with the character. He is completely devoid of ego.

According to the source, Ken is even utilizing Renee Ferruggia, the former host’s hairstylist, and appears to be adjusting well to the stage, which has been renamed Alex Trebek.

The week of January 13th, all Jeopardy and Wheel tapings have been canceled. Both the air dates and the ongoing tournaments will be postponed.

According to the insider, no new dates have been set yet, but everyone is actively doing everything they can.

Every program has a sizable staff, and Jeopardy! having a production staff of about 40 people that record each episode, and a post-production team of about 75 people.

According to their website, Wheel of Fortune normally has 100 in-house production team members, with 60 to 100 local employees joining them during episodes that are filmed on location.
