Jerry Jones sends clear message about Dallas Cowboys ‘expectations’ after ending unwanted record on Thanksgiving
The Dallas Cowboys’ expectations have been made plain by Jerry Jones.
With their victory over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys broke an unwelcome record.
Jones, 82, witnessed the Cowboys’ 27–20 victory over the Giants at AT&T Stadium.
After six tries, the outcome marked the team’s first home victory of the season.
Despite high expectations, the Cowboys had a difficult season.
Dak Prescott, the team’s starting quarterback, has been declared out for the season, and the team is almost eliminated from the playoff race.

But now that the Cowboys have won consecutive games, the tide has turned.
Following the victory over the Giants, the general manager of the Cowboys spoke with the media and stated that it has taken longer to make headway in putting the strategy into practice.
“Well, it is definitely great to have those two wins back-to-back,” Jones remarked.
We were a little worn out toward the end, but that’s what you do. I’m really proud of those people.
“They have undoubtedly given me encouragement. The younger guys are playing better, in my opinion.
“I can tell that our defense is now grasping what (Mike) Zimmer wants to contribute.
“This proved to be more difficult than we had anticipated.
“However, I am watching them play how Zimmer designs it, and I am especially happy with Cooper Rush’s quarterbacking.
“I believed that he was directly responsible for our victory.
“We have got a lot of young players out there that are getting a lot of reputation that will pay off for us and pay off for the rest of this year.”
On December 10, the Cowboys will play the Cincinnati Bengals to continue their season.
The team will have the opportunity to win their second game of the season at AT&T Stadium.
