Jimmy Johnson ‘doesn’t see’ Deion Sanders joining Dallas Cowboys as Fox NFL Sunday star points to his other strengths
Jimmy Johnson, a legend of the Dallas Cowboys, does not think Deion Sanders will be the team’s next coach.
The 57-year-old Hall of Famer Sanders has been mentioned as a potential replacement for the faltering team.
The squad has a 4-7 record, and current head coach Mike McCarthy’s contract expires at the end of this season.

He was discussing Sanders’ possible move to Dallas with Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy.
“No, I don’t think that happens,” he said.
“I adore Deion, but he excels at attracting talent.
“One of the reasons they’ve reached this point is because of his excellent coaching staff.
“But I don’t see it happening there in Dallas.”

Johnson continued, “He can bring out the best in the talent he’s got, and that’s part of it.”
Sanders was questioned about the possibility of leaving the Colorado Buffaloes to take a head coaching position in the NFL.
“Dude, I’m content where I am,” he demanded.
“I’m doing fine. I managed to get a kickstand.
That indicates that I’m content, healthy, and sleeping. I genuinely adore this place.
