With the Cincinnati Bengals’ hopes of making the playoffs in jeopardy, star quarterback Joe Burrow has been dealing with two injury issues.
Due to the injury, the Bengalssit are now 6-8 on the season and must win their final three games and get support from other teams in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Burrow was designated as a limited participant in practice that day, the Bengals announced on Wednesday.
Why? The 28-year-old’s right knee and wrist were injured.
Burrow appeared to be unharmed throughout Sunday’s victory over the Tennessee Titans, but it’s unclear exactly when or how he hurt himself.
In the 37-27 victory on the road, Burrow completed 26 of 37 pass attempts for 271 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also lost a fumble.

Because of his ailments, ESPN has given the Bengals a 6% chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
Burrow has had a busy month since, on Monday night during Week 14 of football, when he was playing against the Dallas Cowboys, robbers broke into his $7.8 million home.
His romantic life also came into focus after TMZ revealed that Olivia Ponton, a swimsuit model for Sports Illustrated, called the police following the heist at the estate in Anderson Township, Ohio.

“I believe there have been multiple instances of privacy violations.
“And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that s all I got to say about that.”

During his final two years of college and the first six-and-a-half years of his NFL career, including his 2022 Super Bowl trip, she was by his side.
In 2023, Burrow purchased his opulent home while still dating Holzmacher.
The home robbery comes after theNFLissued a security alert to teams and the players’ union following recent burglaries.

Burrow will hope to be healthy enough to play in the Bengals’ divisional matchup versus theCleveland Brownsin Week 16.
