JonBenét Ramsey ransom note holds eerie links to suspect Gary Oliva but 2nd man’s girlfriend also called out handwriting

An unsettling image of who may have slain the six-year-old pageant queen on Christmas night in 1996 has been created by the ransom note left for JonBen T. Ramsey’s parents the night she was murdered.

The two-and-a-half-page handwritten note was discovered early in the morning on the kitchen stairway of the Ramsey family home in Boulder, Colorado, by Patsy Ramsey, a former beauty queen herself.

Her daughter was discovered strangled to death in their cellar a few hours later using a paintbrush handle and a nylon cord.

Since the girl’s killer has yet to be apprehended, the widely reported inquiry into Jon Ben T’s killing sparked a lot of conjecture and media attention.

A three-part Netflix documentary is now delving deeply into the case by speaking with her brother Burke Ramsey, who was just nine years old at the time, and father John Ramsey, among other important figures.

Cold Case: Who Was the Killer? After years of theories concerning the lengthy list of suspects, which includes a pedophile who admitted to the crime, JonBen Ramsey is determined to find the real murderer.

After completing less than eight years of a 10-year sentence for child pornography charges, suspect Gary Oliva was released from jail in January.

After he was discovered posting pictures of child sexual abuse to his personal Gmail account, he was arrested in June 2016.

More than 695 pictures of child pornography were discovered when authorities checked his phone.

In addition, he had 335 pictures of JonBen, including pictures of shrines to her and her autopsy.

Oliva has admitted to killing Jon Ben several times since his incarceration, but he has never been charged with her murder.

“I never loved anyone like I did JonBen t and yet I let her slip and her head bashed in half and I watched her die,” Oliva messaged Michael Vail, a classmate from high school.

SUSPECT’S HANDWRITING

Handwriting experts’ forensic analysis of Olivia’s rambling letters last year found startling connections between the notorious ransom note and the criminal’s handwriting.

It was sent to John and claimed to have been written by a “small foreign faction.” The ransom note wanted $118,000 in payment for JonBen’s safe return.

Mozelle Martin and Dawn McCarty, two experts, came to the conclusion that Oliva was “most likely” the person who wrote the ransom note.

The experts pointed to parallels between Oliva’s handwriting and the handwriting of the person who penned the ransom letter, including the angle of the cursive and the spacing between the letters.

However, this is not the first time that the horrifying note has sparked conjecture regarding the hunt for the murderer.

EX-GIRLFRIEND’S ACCUSATIONS

When journalist Robert “Chris” Wolf’s then-girlfriend Jacqueline Dilson suspected him of being the murderer, he was thrust into the center of the inquiry into JonBen T’s killing.

Dilson informed authorities that because of Wolf’s unpredictable and peculiar conduct during the crime scene, she felt he was involved in the murder.

His handwriting was almost exactly the same as the killer’s, she said.

The theory became unmanageable, and in their contentious 2000 book The Death of Innocence, the Ramseys named Wolf as one of their main suspects.

Wolf filed a slander lawsuit against the Ramseys, but the judge ultimately dismissed the $50 million case.

Dilson, who was still certain that her ex was responsible for the crime, placed a sponsored ad in a local newspaper in 2011 that contrasted the ransom note with a version that was recreated using letters and words taken from Wolf’s notebook.

Dilson demanded that police reexamine Wolf’s involvement in the crime when a handwriting expert “confirmed” that he most likely composed the memo.

But according to authorities at the time, Wolf had already been “thoroughly investigated” and had been ruled out by a handwriting analysis.

Wolf has been ruled out as a suspect and has categorically denied any role in JonBen T’s death.
