Kansas City Chiefs banned from holding Super Bowl rally if they beat Eagles after deadly shooting last year
If the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in the crucial game, the team has been told not to host a Super Bowl parade in the city.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ action follows the tragic shooting that occurred during the parade the previous year, which left one person dead and 22 injured.
When the Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans on February 9, they are aiming for the league’s first-ever three-peat.
Fox 4 in Kansas City reported on Thursday that if the Chiefs win the championship, they will not host a public rally in the city.
More than 100 stakeholders, including city authorities, law enforcement, hospitals, and Kathy Nelson, the chair of the sports commission, accepted the decision, the outlet claimed.
According to the article, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium would host this year’s celebrations.

Only the athletes and their families, as well as Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, will be present.
The players will relocate to Crown Center following the Arrowhead celebration, where they will assemble for a parade route that will assist reduce crowd density.
The decision follows the tragedy that occurred in February of last year, when a disagreement resulted in a shooting that left one person dead and hundreds evacuating for their lives.
The incident happened outside the historic Union Station in Kansas City.
Andy Reid and his team had just returned from Las Vegas following their victory over the San Francisco 49ers in overtime in Super Bowl 58.
Outside Union Station, more than a million Chiefs supporters cheered the team on.
To support the victims and their families, the Chiefs, NFL, and HuntFamilyFoundation donated $200,000 to the #KCStrong Fund in the days following the massacre.
Additionally, Travis Kelce donated $100,000 to one of the victims’ families.
Running back for the ChiefsClyde Edwards-Helaire received a national hero award for protecting the son of a woman in Kansas City during the incident.
The Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl 57, which is rematched in this year’s major event.
The Chiefs just defeated the rival Buffalo Bills 32–21 in the AFCC championship.
In the NFC Championship, the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23.
The Big Easy’s Caesars Superdome will host this year’s Super Bowl on February 9.
