Kansas City Chiefs coach and key Andy Reid ally in Super Bowl win interviews with three teams during playoff bye week

This week, Steve Spagnuolo, the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, has interviews with three teams.

Next season, defensive coordinator Spagnuolo is expected to seek the top position at another team.

The 65-year-old Spagnuolo has been with the Chiefs since 2019 and has won three Super Bowls.

He has been a crucial ally of Andy Reid in creating a dynasty at Arrowhead Stadium.

As defensive coordinator for the New York Giants in 2007, Spagnuolo also won the Super Bowl.

Additionally, he has been linked to a head coaching position due to his recent success.

After securing the top seed in the AFC playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs are currently enjoying a week off.

Additionally, Spagnuolo made good use of the time before concentrating on the Chiefs’ drive for history.

He had interviews for the top positions with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Jets.

The Chiefs defensive coordinator talked about organizations’ interest prior to the Week 18 matchup with the Denver Broncos.

“I mean, I’ll deal with that later,” he replied.

“Listen, the answer is yes, but Denver is the main focus at the moment.

“I’ll let all of that take care of itself.”

Reid, the coach of the Chiefs, acknowledged that offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and Spagnuolo would draw a lot of interest.

“You know this from what I’ve said before: I think both of them deserve an opportunity again to be head coaches,” added Reid.

It’s clear that they’re receiving some attention here, so other individuals are aware of that as well.

“We’ll simply wait and see.

Nagy has also been interviewed for the position of head coach of the Jets.

Kansas City is attempting to win the Super Bowl for the third time in a row, which has never been done in NFL history.
