Kansas City Chiefs fans adamant they’ve found their new Travis Kelce when he retires after career milestone
As Travis Kelce approaches retirement, Kansas City Chiefs supporters are thrilled with their backup tight end.
Following a Hall of Fame career, Kelce, 35, has appeared to be slowing down this year.
Additionally, Kelce’s backup has shown the Chiefs promise this season.
After being selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 25-year-old Noah Gray is currently in his fourth season with the Chiefs.
He is beginning to establish himself as a top tight end and in September inked a three-year, $19.5 million contract deal.
In the loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Gray grabbed two touchdown passes.

Additionally, Gray now has as many 2024 scores as Kelce.
This season, Kelcehas has caught 62 catches for 507 yards and two touchdowns.
Gray, on the other hand, has caught 23 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns.
An admirer of the Chiefs wrote, “He is a great backfill for Travis when he retires.”
“I fear our best tight end,” said another.
A third, however, wrote, “Congratulations, Noah! How thrilling your career is for you.
Gray has a good chance of surpassing his previous season total of 305 yards and two touchdowns.
As a bit-part player, he has won two Super Bowl rings with Kansas City.
On Sunday, Kansas City suffered a defeat in Buffalo in their season opener.
Kelce only had two catches for eight yards, which infuriated the fans.
Following the defeat, head coach Andy Reid gave a message to his troops.
“The margin between winning and losing is small and that starts with me,”Reid added.
“Some of our young guys can learn a lot from this game.
