Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt makes clear statement over Andy Reid retirement rumors after Super Bowl

Regarding speculations of Andy Reid’s resignation, Clark Hunt, the manager of the Kansas City Chiefs, was questioned.

A clear message regarding his Hall of Fame coach was also given by the Chiefs Chairman and CEO.

This weekend, Reid, 66, will coach Kansas City in his fifth Super Bowl and sixth overall.

During his tenure as coach, he also guided his opponents—the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend—to the Super Bowl.

Although he just admitted that he is not getting any younger, he is still one of the finest coaches in history.

Similar to Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, Reid’s future has been the subject of growing curiosity.

Chairman Hunt, meanwhile, is certain that Reid will return in 2025.

Hunt said, “I have no doubt that he will return next year.”

However, I believe Andy enjoys his work and will continue to do so for a very long time.

“Knowing how much fun Andy is having, I was always taken aback when I heard those reports.

“You know, I believe that the team’s success has revitalized him in many ways.

“He is undoubtedly paired with Patrick Mahomes, a quarterback who is the ideal match for him.

Additionally, I am aware that he enjoys his work. I’m relieved that none of those rumors have surfaced this year.

After traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana, this week, Reid also addressed retirement rumors once more.

With 301 victories, Reid ranks fourth all-time among NFL head coaches.

The only people ahead of him are George Halas (324), Bill Belichick (333), and Don Shula (347).

“That’s not part of it,” Reid argued.

“I simply love being a teacher. The statistics and records don’t really interest me.
