Kansas City Chiefs star and Patrick Mahomes ally to sign mega new $48 million contract after Super Bowl success
Following his Super Bowl triumph, Isiah Pacheco, the hero of the Kansas City Chiefs, is expected to sign a massive $48 million contract.
The 25-year-old became the first running back in history to win a ring in his first two seasons.
Pacheco has caught 12 catches for 79 yards this season, averaging 11.3 receiving yards.
In addition, he has one rushing touchdown and 310 rushing yards on 83 attempts (44.3 ypg).
According to MLFootball, he was eligible for a new deal of $48 million over four years because of his winning record and form.
While Pacheco is certain to stay in Kansas, backup quarterback Carson Wentz may depart, according to head coach Andy Reidad.

Wentz, who was signed in the summer, has mostly been a backup to quarterback quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
