Keir Starmer unveils string of measures to tackle Britain’s record-high immigration figures
SIR Keir Starmer has pledged to stop the UK’s reputation as a safe spot for visa misuse and has outlined new steps to address record-high net migration.
The prime minister blamed the Conservative Party for the current net migration numbers in an impromptu press conference.
They revealed that in 2023, the number of migrants entering the UK reached a record 906,000.
In order to reduce numbers, revamp the Points-Based System, and deter industries from depending on low-cost foreign labor, the PM promised to release a new white paper soon.
