Kentucky New Law Signed by Governor Beshear Aims to Improve Access to Speech Therapy Services

FRANKFORT, KY – Access to speech therapy will be expanded thanks to a bill that Governor Andy Beshear signed into law.

Senate Bill 111 is a mandate from insurance companies to guarantee that speech treatment is covered for families.

During his Team Kentucky update, Beshear welcomed bill sponsor Sen. Whitney Westerfield and supporter Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to speak in favor of the legislation.
