Kim Kardashian shows off family slumber party with Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo – but fans aren’t happy
Fans were furious with Kim Kardashian after she posted a vintage photo from a sleepover with a Wicked theme on Instagram.
Weeks before the film’s release, Kim transformed her Calabasas house into her own private Oz at the end of October for a pajama party where the family’s kids could watch it.
The principal actors from Wicked, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, joined them as guests of honor wearing matching pink and green Skims pajamas.
After the film’s success, Kim posted a group photo from the occasion that featured her sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, and mother Kris Jenner with the majority of their children.
As they posed for the photo, North West, Chicago West, Psalm West, Penelope Disick, True Thompson, Dream Kardashian, and Stormi Webster all grinned.
Fans had already expressed their disapproval of the family receiving preferential treatment, so Kim’s reposting of the black-and-white photo today to commemorate the occasion didn’t sit well with them.

There were balloon arches, special drinks, and a pink and green meal during the occasion.
Additionally, guests were given their own exclusive merchandise, which included Funko Pops, makeup, and dolls of Glinda and Elphaba.
Fans then called them out on their privilege after the re-post.
One person posted in the comments: “Now, when you have the coin.” Cynthia and Ariana are available for a day’s rental. This is no longer on the runway.
In fact, people grow tired of you all showing off their affluence at these times. Why not demonstrate your generosity in a genuine and significant way? uttered a second.
A third person wrote: What was the price of that? More than a shelter for the homeless, probably.
A fourth person commented, “Imagine having to maintain this level of spoiling when the kids grow up.”
The event, which took place on October 23, served as the catalyst for the successful marketing campaign for Wicked, which is now the year’s must-see film.
In just two weeks, the movie is expected to shatter box office records and surpass Grease (1979) as the highest-grossing cinematic musical adaptation ever.
The second installment of Wicked has already been finished and is anticipated to be released the following year.
