Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts at locations across the US and you can just walk right in

SWEET-TOOTHED foodies have rushed to get free donuts from Krispy Kreme in celebration of World Kindness Day. 

Participating locations across the country are giving out a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts without requiring any purchase. 

The freebies are only been given to the first 500 guests in Krispy Kreme shops and via drive-thru on November 13.

Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena, encouraged people to share their box of doughnuts with others. 

“World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” Skena said.

“We hope that each dozen Original Glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.”

Krispy Kreme bring back much-loved fall doughnut for just one weekend

Customers who get a box have been encouraged to tag the coffeehouse on social alongside #KrispyKreme.

Thousands of people liked Krispy Kreme’s Instagram post promoting the giveaway.

Many commenters revealed they had already managed to get a free box of doughnuts.

“I thought there was going to be a long line nope I was in and out, thanks Krispy Kreme,” one person said.

“8 AM, no wait in Downtown Jersey City. Thank you Krispy Kreme,” another commented.

“I’m here rn [right now],” a third chimed in.

Krispy Kreme to give away two free donuts per customer this Friday

Others complained that the doughnuts had already sold out at their local store.

Krispy Kreme has gained a legion of fans in the 40 countries it operates in and has become recognized for its “hot-off-the-line, melt-in-your-mouth experience.”

They are now aiming to make fresh doughnuts readily available daily at 35,000 sales locations within the next three years.

CEO Josh Charlesworth recently announced that Krispy Kremes will become available in nearly 2,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of 2024. 

They’ve already entered Chicago, while Ohio and Indiana are set to follow this week.

“We’re building a bigger Krispy Kreme by focusing on our fresh doughnuts available through retail shops, online, and delivered daily to grocers, convenience stores, and quick service restaurants around the world,” Charlesworth said. 

By the end of 2026, Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be sold in over 12,000 McDonald’s restaurants.
