After ordering his groceries the night before, a furious customer has accused Kroger of fraud after their items increased in price before being delivered.
The customer used Xto blast the chain for the transfer, which resulted in them paying more than they had anticipated at the time of order placement.
John, an X user, posted on Thursday: “@kroger Really, I paid for and received my groceries today after placing my order last night, but the cost increased before they were delivered?
“The price increased before delivery, therefore I was charged again today.
“We refer to that as fraud. I consented to pay the amount shown on my receipt.

KROGER FURY
Kroger has recently faced criticism on social media on a number of occasions.
An irate customer complained on social networking site X on November 29 about the supermarket’s constant lack of the things they need.
When they require a few bits, this forces them to go to other sites.
“Every time I go there, they are always out of something I need, so I end up driving three times as far to Walmart,” the message said.
“They are out of both of the things I just ran to Kroger for. I’m just going to Walmart from now on.”
Kroger delivery policy
Kroger uses Instacart to provide same-day delivery.
Customers can pay $6.95 for two-hour delivery.
Items can be delivered in as little as 30 minutes for those who require them more quickly.
For faster delivery, orders must total at least $10.
Customers who spend $75 or more for their first delivery can save $15.
In response, Kroger said: “Hey! We appreciate you alerting us about this.
“To give you the greatest help, we recommend that you send us a private message. Thank you. eagerly awaiting your response.”
The client quickly retaliated, claiming that the answer was ineffective and not entirely their fault.
“Why bother?” he wrote. I’ve been told that the distribution side is the problem. Stores place orders for products that never arrive.
Customers who were similarly irritated responded to the message.
