Kyiv braces for huge strike after Ukraine blitzes deep in Russia for 1st time as Kremlin makes chilling warning to West

As Ukraine prepares for a massive Russian bombardment, the US Embassy in Kyiv has closed.

It occurs one day after Moscow threatened to “react accordingly” to Ukraine’s first-ever strike on Russian territory using ATACMS missiles provided by the US.

The United States Embassy stated: “Out of an abundance of caution, the embassy will be closed, and embassy employees are being instructed to shelter in place.”

The report “recommends US citizens be prepared to immediately shelter in the event an air alert is announced” .

Additionally, the security situation for British diplomats in Kyiv is being “extremely closely” examined by the UK government.

Vladimir Putin has issued many warnings that Moscow will use US-made weaponry deep within Russia in retaliation for Ukraine’s strikes.

Additionally, Vlad signed a new doctrine to reduce the bar for launching a nuclear strike on Tuesday, the 1,000th day of the battle.

The first deployment of American-made ATACMS missiles on Russian soil was reported by Ukrainian media almost at the same time.

The Ukrainian military claimed responsibility for a fire at a weapons storage in Bryansk, 70 miles across the border from Karachev, although they made no comments regarding the usage of the weapons.

Six ATACMS were shot by Ukraine, according to the Kremlin, who also said that the damage was not significant.

With their 186-mile range and difficulty of interception, the missiles allow Kyiv to launch attacks farther into Russia.
