Kylie Jenner slammed for private jet taking EIGHT flights since wildfires after heading to Paris with Timothee Chalamet
Since the start of the wildfires in Los Angeles, Kylie Jenner has come under fire for taking eight flights on her private plane.
After posting a statement regarding relief efforts for the disasters, reality star Kylie, 27, who recently traveled to Paris with her 29-year-old boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, is receiving abuse.
Her jet had just finished its eleventh voyage since January 1st when the post was made.
Despite mounting public pressure on celebrities like her sister Kim Kardashian to reduce their emissions, the millionaire, who has previously faced criticism for using private jets excessively, has not made any steps to minimize her emissions in 2025.
Kylie’s seventy-two million dollar Bombardier Global 7500 jet has made eleven flights so far this year, including three on January 16.
The Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator estimates that these flights have released about 162 tons of CO2, which is equivalent to the annual power consumption of 33 households, according to CelebrityJets.

Kylie slammed for inauthentic response to LA fires while she parties in Paris
A startlingly brief 15-minute flight that used 120 gallons of jet fuel and released one ton of CO2 was one of four flights that lasted less than an hour.
The jet has made eight takeoffs since the wildfires started on January 7.
It finished one of its shortest flights, a 15-minute journey from Los Angeles to Camarillo, California, on January 9.
Kylie added three more tons of CO2 emissions when she took a 36-minute flight to Palm Springs three days later.
Kylie flew to London that same evening to attend Timothee’s Bob Dylan biography premiere, A Complete Unknown.
Ironically, Timoth e chose a more environmentally friendly mode of transportation than a car and rode a Lime bike to the event.
The pair flew to Paris, France, for 47 minutes after the viewing.
This flight, which cost almost $2,000 and used 361 gallons of jet fuel and produced four tons of CO2, was almost six times more expensive than a premier Eurostar ticket for the same route, which takes less than three hours.
Kylie’s plane completed three trips in one day on her way back to the United States, including stops in Teterboro, New Jersey, Rifle, Colorado, and Fargo, North Dakota.
Around the same time, Kylie posted a statement from her Kylie CosmeticsInstagramaccount, promising to donate skincare, body, hair, and makeup products to help fire victims in Altadena.
In the post, Kylie said, We are truly heartbroken to see the devastation caused by the fires inLos Angeles.
“Watching so many people forced to evacuate and hearing the stories of those who have lost everything is deeply saddening and difficult to comprehend.
However, the post – which garnered 21,000 likes – sparked outrage among her followers.
One person said, Taking a private jet to Paris, which contributes to the warmer weather and wildfires inLA, and then putting a bandaid on middle-class LA fire victims with your lotion, is horrific. Make appropriate use of your power.
Another critic onRedditlabeled Kylie s actions as performative, saying, Kylie sharing donation links is performative. She s been using her jet for days while the fires are still happening. Worms for brains.
This isn t the first time Kylie has been called out for her environmental impact.
In 2022, she faced criticism for a 12-minute private jet flight a 26-mile journey that would have taken 39 minutes by car.
Kylie s jet use has remained prolific. She reportedly took 195 flights in 2024, according to CelebrityJets.
Her private jet is customized with Herm s blankets on every seat and cost her nearly $72.8 million in 2020.

Wildfires what are they?
Here’s what you need to know…
- A wildfire is an uncontrolled fire that typically occurs in large rural areas of vegetation
- Types of wildfire include brush fires, bush fires, desert fires, forest fires and peat fires
- Fossilised evidence suggests that wildfires began soon after land plants appeared 420million years ago
- Wildfires can destroy large areas of vegetation, and also threaten human property and life
- They are common on Earth due to the carbon-rich vegetation, dry climates, high levels of atmospheric oxygen, and widespread lightning
- Serious wildfires are hard to control and supress, as they can spread unpredictably and move quickly over large areas
- Wind can also be a major factor in the fast spread of wildfires
