The American Society for Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) has been informed and is on its way.
The victim’s funeral, which will be held in Mexico, where he has family, will be paid for by the landscaping company that hired him.
In a news conference, town manager Lynne Ladner informed reporters that the landscaper had gone to feed wood into the machine when the deadly chopper tragically beheaded him.
She said that “other members of the crew saw it happening” and that the individual “was working by themselves doing tree trimming and feeding a wood chipper” at the time of the incident.
Miss Ladner went on to say that even though the wood shredder had an emergency switch, the crew was unable to respond quickly enough because the catastrophe happened so swiftly in front of them.
According to her, it is a terrible loss of life.
According to Cary Porter, proprietor of Boynton Beach Tree Service, there are significant risks involved in tree pruning.
Porter clarified how strong wood chippers may be, but neither he nor his business are connected to this tragedy.
It’s been more than two years since I utilized chippers. According to Porter, if someone manages to hold onto a branch that is being drawn into the chipper and refuses to let go, they will be drawn straight into it.
It’s unfortunate that one error can end your life in this way.
The American Society for Occupational Safety and Health is looking into the accident.
