Legendary restaurant and Olive Garden rival abruptly closes after diners spot crew removing signs

After a well-known restaurant abruptly closed, patrons were left stunned and perplexed.

The picture, which was posted on Facebook a few days ago, showed removal trucks removing signs.

Alongside the photograph, the original poster stated, “Fazoli’s has closed its Zanesville location.”

“This morning, workers began taking down the signs. For those who recall, Popeyes was officially housed in this building.

Along with some other comments, this post elicited sorrowful emoji reactions.

One Facebook user seemed unconcerned with the closure in their comment.

CHICKENED OUT

Popeyes’ rival is forced to abruptly close 25 locations across three states

“New Fazoli’s has lost its charm,” the comment said. There isn’t much of a loss as compared to the Fazoli family of the 1990s.

However, other restaurant patrons did not find resonance in this comment.

In response to that comment, someone wrote, “Delicious takeout spaghetti and breadsticks that are quick and affordable? There isn’t a greater loss in my mind.”

ABRUPT ENDINGS

A few diners were more perplexed by the recent handover.

“It had only been open since September 2021,” one individual stated. What happened, I wonder?

Someone reiterated, “A lease disagreement, maybe?” in response to this comment.

“Popeyes was only open for two years prior to this.”

Why the proprietors choose to close a restaurant in such a prime position was one of the thread’s main questions.

A another lover of Fazoli’s joked, “It’s in a great location.” Both eateries were bustling, and locals frequent the area.

However, it appears that diners have been impacted by Fazoli’s loss before.

Last but not least, someone else commented, “Dothan, AL, lost our Fazoli’s too – mostly due to roadworks.”

POSSIBLE NEW BEGINNINGS

Since this was uploaded four days ago, there hasn’t been any news regarding the problem.
