FOX 2.Coach Dan Campbell is still not holding back less than two full days after the Lions’ collapse against the Washington Commanders.

The Lions’ possibly best regular season in franchise history was marred on Saturday when they lost 45-31 to the No. 6 seed in the biggest upset of the playoffs and recent NFL history.

It was a difficult pill to swallow. when you hold yourself to certain standards and ambitions. We didn’t succeed,” he remarked. “Washington deserves praise for taking the necessary action.Because we didn’t bring our B game, I believe we would have won the game if we had brought our A game.

“I know everybody is frustrated, I know the fans are and certainly our team and everyone in the organization.”

Despite his pride in the team’s victory, Campbell noted that everyone bears responsibility for the defeat. He said that everyone contributed to the loss and that they all shared responsibility for it.

However, he added, he has already completed the earliest stages of sorrow.

“You dismiss yourself, man. “I’m back on my feet and ready to roll after experiencing the loss of a family member yesterday,” Campbell remarked. “I can say, you know what?,” after glancing in the mirror. Man, you failed. How will you respond to this?

The Lions suffered from a number of injuries, mostly to their defense, but five turnovers made their shorthanded problems worse.

Jared Goff, the quarterback, has one lost fumble and four interceptions. Quan Martin’s 40-yard interception return for a Washington touchdown after his first interception resulted in direct points.

According to Campbell, there was more than one element that failed on the play in many of the cases. He claimed that the tone was established by Goff’s lost fumble with the Lions ahead 7-3.
