Lions vs. Commanders game: How to get to Detroit for just $2 this weekend
Even though sticker shock may have set in at the end of the season after the Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the final game to secure the NFC North division, the price has continued to rise.
DETROIT (FOX 2):Take a bus to Detroit this weekend to avoid parking and traffic.
Bus rides to Detroit Lions game
Prior to the kickoff at Ford Field on Saturday at 8 p.m., SMART is providing park and ride bus lines from the surrounding areas of Metro Detroit to downtown.
ADDITIONAL:
DART passes are also accepted, and the one-way fare is $2.
Timetable:
On Saturday, January 18, buses bound for Detroit will start departing at 3 p.m. and run every 30 minutes after that. At 7 p.m., the last bus will leave.
At 9 p.m., return buses depart Detroit and continue to operate hourly until midnight.

Lakeside Mall: Park in Lot 76, north of Macy s. Board shuttles from Lakeside Circle on the north side of the parking lot. Look for temporary SMART signage. Note: Shuttles do not board at the old Sears stop or Southcove Drive.

Detroit to Ann Arbor bus
The D2A2 bus operated by the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) will run late on Saturday night in addition to the SMART express routes.
Timetable:
The bus will transport passengers to Grand Circus Park in Detroit from the Blake Center in Ann Arbor starting at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday.
At 11:55 p.m., buses will return to Ann Arbor.
Price:
The one-way fare for the D2A2 is $8 at the door, or $6 if you book in advance, which is advised.
