LIVE ROAD CONDITIONS: Police handle crashes across Metro Detroit as snow falls

DETROIT (FOX 2):Due to the roadways being slick and causing collisions, Metro Detroit police have been very busy Thursday morning.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reports six instances on freeways, including I-75, I-275, and I-96, as of 8 a.m. Wayne and Oakland counties have the highest number of reported crashes on I-75.

Although there are many lane closures, no freeways are completely shutdown at the moment.

After falling to 1 inch tonight and into Thursday, the snow will finally taper off.
