Macy’s is closing down all 479 locations for the entire day during retail blackout forcing shoppers to make other plans

Later this month, MACY’S intends to conduct a retail blackout in which all of its locations will be closed for a whole day.

All 479 Macy’s stores around the country will be affected, so customers will need to schedule their holiday shopping appropriately.

Americans are getting ready for the holiday with shopping sprees and bargain sprints as Christmas draws closer.

Consumers, however, should remember that many major corporations will shutter their US outlets on December 25 to allow their personnel time to celebrate.

One of these retailers, Macy’s, intends to observe the holiday by closing around 500 of its locations on Christmas Day.

Make sure to purchase all of your gifts in advance because the store usually closes early on Christmas Eve.
