Macy’s is closing down all 479 locations for the entire day during retail blackout forcing shoppers to make other plans

All 479 Macy’s stores around the country will be affected, so customers will need to schedule their holiday shopping appropriately.
Americans are getting ready for the holiday with shopping sprees and bargain sprints as Christmas draws closer.
Consumers, however, should remember that many major corporations will shutter their US outlets on December 25 to allow their personnel time to celebrate.
One of these retailers, Macy’s, intends to observe the holiday by closing around 500 of its locations on Christmas Day.

In an emergency, customers can even pay for same-day delivery.
Orders purchased online before noon that total $25 or more will be delivered that day for a $15 shipping cost.
Macy’s clients can choose free in-store or curbside pickup if they want to skip the shipping price and the in-store shopping frenzy.
