Major college football schedule announcement as SEC releases 2025 fixtures with Texas-Georgia rematch given top billing

The SEC has announced its 2025 schedule, which includes a rematch between Georgia and Texas as the main event.

In less than a year, the two clubs will face off for the third time.

This season, Texas will travel to Georgia for the crucial match on November 15, which will be their first meeting in Athens.

Georgia won both of its matchups this season, winning 30-15 in Austin in October and 22-19 last Saturday.

Then, on October 18, Georgia will play Ole Miss at home once more.

Similar to their home opener against Clemson the previous season, the Bulldogs will host Marshall in Atlanta in 2025.

Georgia State, Oklahoma, and LSU are some of Alabama’s key home opponents.

The season will then conclude with Oklahoma facing Alabama, Missouri, and LSU.

Arkansas will play Texas A&M at home on October 18 in Fayetteville rather than Arlington, although they will play LSU away on November 15 and Texas away on November 22.

On October 18 and October 25, South Carolina will play two important home games against Oklahoma and Alabama, respectively.
