Malik Nabers sends clear message to ‘soft’ New York Giants teammates ahead of Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving clash
After yet another loss, Malik Nabers had called his New York Giants team “soft as f***”.
On Sunday, the Giants lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30–7, dropping them to a 2–9 season record.
With six receptions for 64 yards during the game, Nabers has made it apparent to his teammates that their performance is lacking.
When asked what the Giants’ sixth consecutive loss was due to, the 2024 Draft’s sixth overall pick merely responded, “Soft as f***.”
Additionally, the rookie receiver was wondering why he was only getting the ball after the Giants were out of reach.
“Go out there,” he advised, “since I don’t get the ball in the first or second quarter.

“I mean, there is nothing I can do. When the score is 30-0, begin to get the ball. What are you expecting me to do?
“Ask coach” was Nabers’ response when he was questioned further about why he wasn’t getting more of the ball.
Although he said he doesn’t know what the issue is, Nabers maintained that quarterback Tommy DeVito isn’t the cause.
“It’s not the quarterback,” he continued. I’m not sure. Everyone is more knowledgeable than I am.
“I don’t know what it is, but I know I’m tired of losing” .
It’s not only Nabers who believes there’s a problem.

After the game, defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence expressed his anger as “extremely” high.
According to him, “We played soft and they beat the s*** out of us today,” echoing Nabers’ “soft” opinion.
And offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor said, “I personally don’t think everybody is giving 100%,” casting doubt on the team’s dedication.
In an attempt to turn around their off-season, the Giants will next play the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
