(FOX 2) Royal Oak Township, MichiganAfter allegedly attacking a woman’s children and biting off a portion of her ear inside a hotel, a guy is currently facing numerous accusations.
The backstory
For the Saturday assaults inside the American Inn and Suites, Detroit resident Jacob Macklis, 23, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault with intent to maim, assault by strangulation, domestic violence, and two charges of third-degree child abuse.
Police were summoned to the motel after hearing a mother and children yelling for assistance, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office. The 35-year-old victim was reportedly being held by Macklis’ hair when Michigan State Police troopers arrived. The prosecutor claimed that before to his detention, he had struck the woman in the face in front of the police.
Following the arrest of a man with warrants at the American Inn and Suites in Royal Oak Township last month, police on Tuesday retrieved a gun linked to the incident.
Macklis is accused of sexually abusing the lady, chewing off a portion of her ear, and striking her, according to prosecutor Karen McDonald. He is also accused of physically abusing her kids.
McDonald remarked, “The level of violence in this case is shocking,” “After everything that this mom and her kids had to go through, my heart aches for them. His victims deserve justice, thus my office will press the most serious charges possible against this offender.”
