Man Contacts Authorities, Acknowledges Wife’s Shooting in East Houston, What Reports Say!
CONROE, Texas — The motive behind a man’s late-night shooting death of his wife is being pieced together by east Houston authorities.
Officials with the Houston Police Department reported that shortly before ten o’clock at night, they received a call from an anonymous male claiming to have shot his wife at their Tuffy Street residence, which is close to Grangerland.
Police who responded reported seeing an unnamed man lying on the stairway of the house with a gun next to him. The man was without incident placed in handcuffs, they added.

Detectives discovered his unnamed wife shortly afterward. She was shot in the face, or “head area,” and is said to be in her late 40s.
Although the cause of the shooting is still unknown as of this writing, authorities have stated that the man will be charged with murder and that they are still conducting an investigation into the tragic event.
