In response to a widespread fan idea that her recent Spotify video message is fraudulent, Mariah Carey has sent a statement.

“This year, we’re celebratingthe 30th anniversary of my album, Merry Christmas, I hope you enjoy listening to it, and I can’t wait to share new music with you soon.”
She wished her audience “Happy Holidays” and blew a kiss as she concluded.

However, many fans thought that artificial intelligence (AI) had been employed, and they weren’t persuaded that Mariah had truly delivered the message.
One reader commented, “Why does it feel like an AI made video?” beneath a post that featured Mariah’s “thank you” Spotify Wrapped message.
Another person wrote, “It looks like AI omg,” and a third person responded, “There’s no f**king way you people actually think that’s not ai.”
Mariah’s admirers jumped to her defense, with one person saying, “It’s not AI she’s just reading something behind the camera which gives uncanny vibes (you can see it in the eye movements).”
