Mark Sanchez makes huge mistake live on Fox as broadcast partner Adam Amin quickly interrupts during Vikings-Seahawks

When Mark Sanchez was commentating live on Fox, he made a grave error.

Fox broadcast the former quarterback during the Minnesota Vikings’ decisive victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

Sanchez, 39, has been employed in the media since he announced his retirement from football in 2019.

He has made appearances on television networks like Fox, CBS, and ESPN.

However, he unintentionally mentioned CBS rules analyst Gene Steratore on his most recent appearance on Fox.

He was analyzing a close area on an Aaron Jones run with co-commentator Adam Amin when the incident occurred.

“Not by much, perhaps by an index card,” Amin remarked. It is the first down.

“Where is Gene Steratore when you need him?” asked Sanchez in jest.

But Amin’s response was swift: “I’ll take Pereira and Blandino.”

After realizing his mistake, Sanchez remarked, “Oh yeah, sorry.”

Amin continued: “We respect all networks here, you know that.”

During the embarrassing exchange, Amin was referring to Fox rules experts Dean Blandino and Mike Pereira.

Sanchez could have, however, made a reference by yelling at Steratore.

He measured the distance between the ball’s tip and the first down marker with an index card while serving as an NFL referee in 2017.

This occurred during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Oakland Raiders game.

In the meantime, Michael Vick started crying when he learned that he was going to take over as head coach of Norfolk State.
