Marvel Rivals patch brings balance changes as Season 1 adds Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman
The first season of Marvel Rivals has arrived, bringing a new Battle Pass and the Fantastic Four characters to the hero shooter’s roster.
Update version 20250110 brings new seasonal content, bug patches, and buffs and nerfs to all characters ahead of the game’s first-ever season.
The new patch’s balance changes are derived on an examination of fight data collected over the first month following the release of the free-to-play game.
The changes are intended to allow a wider roster to participate in more complex games, as mentioned in the balancing post for the latest version.
These are the patch notes for Update 20250110’s Marvel Rivals balance improvements, along with the additional content that will be available in Season 1.
Marvel Rivals Season 1 Patch Notes: Balance Changes
The new update focuses more on strengthening other characters to make them more viable options, rather than overly nerfing the strongest characters in the current meta.

Since it is the cost of a 1000 Lattice bundle, that is slightly less than $10 or $8 in real money.
