McDonald’s $5 value meal deal extends to December but there’s an even better $1 option on the way

The firm now revealed that it has a big menu item coming next year in a statement to CNBC.

“We and our franchisees have heard customers loud and clear when it comes to keeping prices as low as possible,” the statement said.

“We went big on value this summer and fall, giving fans even more options to save when they visit McDonald’s, from the well-liked $5 Meal Deal to a plethora of local and in-app specials on the food they love.

And we’re planning something much more ambitious for 2025.
